Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean is now Available on Samsung Galaxy S3

After a long wait, Samsung has finally released Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update for Samsung Galaxy S3 phone and it will continue rolling out worldwide.

For the Galaxy S3 users you can update your devices to the latest Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean via over the air (OTA) by tapping Menu button -> Settings -> About device -> Software Update or through official Samsung KIES utility. However, since the update is rolling out in phases, not all the users could be able to update their devices right away. But the users should not worry as the update would arrive in your country or network provider soon.

Samsung has added a ton of new features in Android 4.1.2 update for the Galaxy S III, most of the features are brought from the Galaxy Note II. Here are some of the enhancements in the new Android 4.1.2 update.

  • Multi-View (same as in Note II)
  • New Gallery App (same as in Note II)
  • Paper Artist App (same as in Note II)
  • Auto Share Shot Pairing using NFC
  • Page Buddy – Your phone will smartly predict what you intend to do according to your actions.
  • Notification Panel (now can be customized)
  • Smart Rotation (Screen Display adjusts to your angle of sightings)

Moreover, the new android 4.1.2 jelly bean update for Samsung Galaxy S3 brings an improved camera app, with best face, allowing the users to choose the best face for each person from a group of photos taken in Burst Mode.

Another new feature for the camera is the new low light mode that helps the camera sensor takes high quality photos in low light conditions without flash.

In addition to that, the Android 4.1.2 update also brings Reader mode for web browser that makes it easy for users to control the web browser text size and share page.
